False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are offered at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These courses start at NCV level two along with the minimal need would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

As soon as the student finishes NCVLevel two, they'd then have attained a grade ten certificate. NCV Level three would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade twelve.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, being equivalent to a Countrywide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV level 2 which happens to be equivalent to an NQF level 2.

On which kind of students are suited to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that common schooling will not be necessarily the one way of getting an artisan or turning out to be capable so if a student knows from an early age what their passions are, the NCV programme is in fact properly suited for that student.
